Editorial Intern, Conde Nast Traveler
- September 2009 – December 2009. I worked on the Word of Mouth section of the magazine, which focuses on global hotspots, buzzy architecture, itineraries from entertainment, literary, and restaurant celebrities, and the latest must-have travel essentials. In addition to writing short pieces, I helped put together a book of the magazine’s best “Room with a View”, maintained and created media and industry databases, produced photo and text documents using InCopy, and learned how to say “do you speak English” in thirteen languages.
Editorial Intern, Page Six Magazine
- January 2009- February 2009. As assistant to the entertainment editor, I set up, conducted, transcribed, and wrote interviews with up-and-coming New Yorkers, established celebrities, designers, artists, and restaurateurs. I also researched story ideas, wrote up minutes from the weekly editorial meetings, and ran sundry errands.
